Bandwidth Management

iTVManager lets you configure each set-top box to match the maximum bandwidth demand with the actual capabilities of your network.

You can enable or disable features like HD, Pause-Live-TV, and Personal Video Recording. You can also control how many simultaneous streams a subscriber can record.

You can install two full featured set-top boxes each capable of recording two HD streams and then “downgrade” one STB to perform as a standard definition playback devices without recording capabilities. The maximum bandwidth consumption would then be limited to two HD streams plus one SD stream.  As the last-mile bandwidth increases with network upgrades, the capabilities of the STBs can be upgraded remotely.
