Magdalena Yesil

Former Venture Capitalist, US Venture Partners
Magdalena Yesil was most recently a venture capitalist at US Venture Partners (USVP), making investments in information technology start-ups. She has been an early stage investor in several successful companies, including Salesforce.com, 3Ware, Valicert, Securify, and Claria. She joined USVP after a successful career as an entrepreneur, founding two successful electronic commerce companies, CyberCash and MarketPay. She also was part of Unet in its early days and was chosen Entrepreneur of the Year in 1997 by Red Herring magazine. She is the author of Creating the Virtual Store. Ms. Yesil holds a master's degree in electrical engineering and a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, both from Stanford University.

Mauro Pretolani

General Partner, TLcom Capital LLP
Mauro Pretolani is currently Chairman of CommProve, where he also served as CEO in 2005-2006. He is also on the board of Axerra Networks and was on the board of Netscalibur and Sphera Technologies. At TLcom, Mr. Pretolani focuses on Telecom and Internet Protocol Technologies and Services. Previously, he was a Manager in Bain & Company's TMT practice, serving telecommunications, internet and media clients in Europe and Silicon Valley. Before joining Bain, he worked in the Marketing and Treasury departments of Procter & Gamble in Greece and Italy. Mr. Pretolani holds a Summa Cum Laude Laurea Degree in Business Administration from the University of Rome 'La Sapienza' and an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School.

Giacomo Marini

Founder/Managing Director, Noventi/CIR Ventures
Giacomo Marini has served as a board member of Minerva since June 2003. The Founder and Managing Director of Noventi/CIR Ventures, a venture capital firm, Mr. Marini is director of PC-TEL, Aurora Biofuels, Ecrio, Neato Robotics and is also Chairman of TES Automation and Marini Group. Mr. Marini co-founded Logitech. He served as director and member of the management team that launched Logitech, driving it to become a world leader in computer-input devices. He served most recently as Chief Operating Officer; previously he was Executive Vice President, Engineering and Operations, and Vice President of Engineering. Before joining Logitech, Mr.Marini held a variety of technical and managerial positions with Olivetti and IBM. Mr. Marini holds a Laurea degree, cum laude, in computer science from the University of Pisa, Italy.

Mauro Bonomi

Chief Executive Officer, Minerva Networks
Prior to founding Minerva, Mauro Bonomi was a member of the executive staff of C-Cube Microsystems, acquired by LSI Logic. He has contributed heavily to the adoption of digital video technology in the consumer and communications markets. Mr. Bonomi holds Master's Degrees in both Electrical Engineering and Management from Stanford University and received an Undergraduate Degree with honors in Electrical Engineering from Pavia University in Italy.
