iTVFusion provides simple and intuitive tools for adding over-the-top content to the service offering. Once ingested the metadata is stored within in XML format. The metadata contains attributes such as title, description, and URL(s) of the actual content. Minerva supplies pre-configured settings for a growing number of third-party over-the-top sources, including MetaChannels, an indexer of syndication-ready video programming. MetaChannels allows subscribers to browse a pre-selected list of hundreds of popular Internet video programs, such as CNN, Good Morning America Health, The Apple Byte, and many others.
Service providers can easily edit the ingested metadata. Operators can also use the iTVFusion metadata ingestion tools to upload their own custom content, such as videos of local school and community events.
