Remote Storage DVR (RS-DVR) enables subscribers to record and playback content from a remote server.
RS-DVR offers the same features as DVR. In addition, subscribers can access recorded programs from any connected device, perform an unlimited number of simultaneous recordings and enjoy much larger storage capacity.
RS-DVR lowers infrastructure costs for operators as DVR set-top boxes are no longer needed. The last-mile bandwidth requirements are also greatly reduced.
